There are times when life get’s going 100mph. The past three weeks I’ve felt like I’ve been going at Nascar speed through life. Today, I ended work a little earlier than normal and decided to come home instead of rush to workout. When I got home, I poured my self a glass of wine and made dinner. I had dinner with no interruptions, except for my cat Angel jumping onto my lap. Time was slowing down. I was actually catching up with my own thoughts inside my head. After dinner, I came across Julia’s blog post. Time stopped. I thanked God for this moment in my life.
Julia gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on May 4, 2012. She did CrossFit all the way through the 40th week and ate a very clean diet. She became BirthFIT for her baby girl. From what I read, Julia experienced her moment of glory. She shined.
In Venice, California, on April 17th, 2012 I wrote a blog in regards to birth, and how, as women, this is our greatest athletic event. Julia, in Houston, Texas, read my blog and owned it. She conquered her birth. Congratulations!
This is why I do what I do. My passion is to create a purity in pregnancy and empower women. I want women to embrace their pregnancy, become educated about birth, and be proud of being a woman. Being a woman is absolutely fabulous. And, women like Julia make me want to be a better woman that I was yesterday. Thank you.
