Today marks day four of the Whole Life Challenge.

For all those that are participating with me and the crew at the Fake Gym (Functional Fitness on the Bluffs) this post is for you.

“Will Starbucks have something that is legal?”

“ What can I eat?”

“I need to just throw everything in my pantry away.”

“There is no way I can last eight weeks.”

“I did this to myself.”

“Is a headache normal?”

“What about the fact that everything irritates me?”

“You took away every drink that I like.”

“I can do anything for eight weeks.”

“I got this.”

Read the last two phrases again. Yes, you can do this. Even if you feel as if you are at the bottom of Mt. Kilimanjaro, you can climb this freaking mountain! I’ve been where many of you are today, day three and four. I was pissed. I had headaches. I had no energy. However, I kept saying to myself, “one day at a time”. Treat every meal and snack separately. Treat each day as a new day. Tell yourself that you are Better Than Yesterday!

Honestly, you are in the thick of it right now. The worst days are here. Embrace them. Face them head on. Then, you win the fight. Do whatever you have to do to come out on top of this fight.
