Tonight Logan and I attend Prenatal Date Night. Dr. Berlin, Daddy Scrubs, and Bini Birth hosted the event with loads of other supporters. The evening started with dinner, drinks, and mocktails for the mothers. Then, two well-known comics took the stage and literally made some of us pee in our pants. They were hilarious and definitely made light of some the not-so glamorous pregnancy issues. After the comedians did their thing, the audience was split into male and females. The mothers grouped up and talked hormones and feelings. But the real cool thing was the ‘Mini Daddy Boot Camp’ in which the men discussed relationship maintenance, labor and delivery, and even the fourth trimester.

I would definitely recommend this event to any first time parents, second time parents, or even if it is your seventh child. This is an opportunity for a night out with your honey and a chance to meet other couples experiencing and going through the same things you and your partner are going through. The environment is open and welcoming. At one point, you have the opportunity to ask anything that you may have been holding in the back of your head. There is so much seriousness associated with pregnancy and birth that sometimes you and your partner forget to have a good time and laugh.
