Talk about all the perks for the locals. The Venice-Marina Del Rey- Mar Vista – Santa Monica area is going to be blessed very soon with a new birth center, The Art of Birthing Center.
Today, I had the pleasure of getting a sneak peak at the new The Art of Birthing Center. The place is located on Washington Boulevard in Marina Del Rey, just a little East of Abbot Kinney. The energy, the lighting, and everything about the place feels great. It’s calm and peaceful, and from the sound of it, the place will be really beautiful.
Amy Tinney is the owner of The Art of Nursing. She has put her heart and soul into this center. On top of being the owner, Amy is also a midwife, which is how she got started down this road of owning her own birth center. Since starting the build out of the space in December 2012, she has still maintained her home birth practice. I’m fortunate enough that I get to treat some of her patients before and after their births, and they all absolutely love Amy!
If this were my time to have a baby, I know Amy Tinney of The Art of Nursing would be my number one choice. If you live in the area or even the South Bay and you are having a baby, I would strongly encourage you to set up a consult with The Art of Nursing. Good people doing great things.
